The RPM relay monitors the position of the accelerator pedal and the engine speed. It activates as soon as the driver takes their foot off the accelerator pedal and the vehicle is coasting.
In coasting mode, the relay cuts off the fuel supply when the engine speed exceeds 1,500 rpm. If the engine speed drops below 1,300 rpm, the fuel supply is restored to prevent the engine from stalling due to low speed.
